One thing I was never able to understand is when people say how much they hate something. “I hate going to the gym… I hate eating healthy… I hate getting to bed early…” By talking about how much one hates something they do not make it easier on themselves. On the contrary, talking in a negative manner will make situations worse. Know that everything starts within our minds. 

Try taking one situation of your life, say training at the gym, and switching your mentality. Be positive, be happy, write down goals, give yourself small rewards, and so on. Just one task, I’m not suggesting changing everything at once. See where it takes you. As one begins to realize the power of the mind they will likely apply it to other aspects. 

Like our physique, our minds must be worked on as well and over time they will become better. One must put in the effort on their part, though.
