Hi David. I hope you're doing well. I been working out for the past 6 week going to the gym twice a week usually working with weight machines because I don't have someone to spot me. My workouts are usually 30-40 mins and I'll go run a little over a mile afterwards. So far I managed only to lose roughly 2-3 lbs. Would increasing the distance I run/jog speed up the weight loss process? I am watching what I eat as well.

I would suggest simply starting with more training sessions a week as opposed to increasing the length of your runs. Try training 4 times a week as opposed to the 2 days you have been following. These added days should trigger higher fat loss and more results from your weight training sessions.
